My name is Gary P. Lessmann, MD, and I am honored to announce my candidacy for the
Roxborough Water and Sanitation District Board of Directors. As a retired United States
Navy Captain and a board-certified Family and Emergency Physician, I have spent my
career serving others and making decisions that prioritize safety, well-being, and long-term
sustainability.
For the past eight years, my wife of 50 years and I have been proud to call Roxborough Park
our home. Our four children and ten grandchildren, all living in Littleton, keep us deeply
rooted in this community, reinforcing my commitment to ensuring a safe, affordable, and
sustainable water supply—not just for today, but for future generations.
I am passionate about the outdoors and treasure the pristine Colorado streams that make our
state so special. As a board member, I will work diligently to protect and manage our water
resources responsibly, ensuring that our community continues to thrive.
